1. Purpose

In order to ensure the reliability, economy, and long-term operation of the motor, in order to meet the needs of continuous coating production, it is necessary to maintain the motor

3. Daily maintenance (maintenance personnel)

3.1 Keep the motor clean and prevent dirt such as oil and water from entering the interior of the motor.

3.2 Check if the motor terminal bolts and motor base fixing bolts are loose.

3.3 Check the rotation of the motor blades.

3.4 Check whether the motor casing is noticeably hot and whether there is oil leakage or other phenomena in the bearings at both ends.

3.5 Pay attention to observing the motor for abnormal noise, vibration, and special odors during operation.

4. Regular maintenance and upkeep of motors

For motors that operate normally, mechanics and maintenance electricians must perform maintenance and upkeep once a year.

4.1 Remove dust or debris from the inside of the motor (be careful not to damage the motor winding).

4.2 Check whether the motor rotor is flexible and replace vulnerable parts (bearings, etc.).

4.3 Check the insulation resistance of the motor winding to the ground. When the insulation resistance is below 0.5M Ω, the motor must be dried.

4.4 Replace the lubricating grease.

4.5 Check whether the no-load current is within the specified range.

5. Precautions for electric motors

During the maintenance process, attention should be paid to the safety of electricity and mechanical transmission, and illegal operations are strictly prohibited.

5.2 When installing a motor that has been repaired or replaced with a new one, it should be noted that the wiring method should be the same as the nameplate, and attention should be paid to whether the motor rotation direction matches the actual situation.

5.3 After installation, the motor should be jogged and attention should be paid to observing whether the motor operates normally.
