The coil of the induction furnace is the core part of the induction heating furnace, which is a spiral coil made of rectangular copper tubes. It is used in conjunction with the variable frequency power supply of the induction furnace and is also the load of the variable frequency power supply, and the two cannot be separated. So, what are the specific structures, characteristics, and performance indicators of the coils of the induction furnace? The editor will introduce the coil of this induction furnace.

1. The induction furnace coil support system adopts special composite materials, which ensure that each turn of the induction furnace coil is firmly fixed and locked. In this way, the possibility of inter turn short circuits in the coil is eliminated. Some manufacturers provide coils with simple design and poor rigidity. During operation, electromagnetic force can cause vibration. If the coil does not have sufficient stiffness, this vibration force will greatly affect the lifespan of the furnace lining. In fact, the solid and sturdy structure of the induction coil will greatly extend the service life of the furnace lining.

2. The thick walled induction furnace coil provides more heating energy. The thick walled induction coil of an electric furnace has a larger current carrying cross-section compared to induction coils with other cross-sections, resulting in lower coil resistance and more energy that can be used for heating. And due to the uniform thickness of the surrounding pipe walls, its strength is higher than that of a coil structure with uneven pipe walls and a thinner wall on one side. That is to say, our induction furnace coil with this structure is not prone to damage caused by arc and expansion force.

3. The open space between turns of the induction furnace coil is conducive to the discharge of water vapor and reduces the phenomenon of inter turn short circuits caused by water vapor evaporation.

4. The induction furnace coil is equipped with a water-cooled coil, which can extend the service life of the furnace lining. Good cooling of the furnace lining not only provides better insulation and heat resistance characteristics, but also improves the service life of the furnace lining. In order to achieve this goal, water-cooled coils are added to the top and bottom of the electric furnace body design, which not only achieves uniform lining temperature but also reduces thermal expansion.

5. The induction furnace body is equipped with knotting bodies of different shapes at different parts of the coil. Electric furnaces have different shapes of knotting bodies at the top and bottom of induction coils for different applications. These knots are made of special refractory materials.
