The establishment of the main magnetic field for motor maintenance: The excitation winding is energized with DC excitation current to establish the excitation magnetic field between polar phases, which is the establishment of the main magnetic field.

Current carrying conductor: A three-phase symmetrical armature winding acts as a power winding, serving as a carrier for induced electromotive force or induced current.

Cutting motion: The prime mover drives the rotor to rotate (inputting mechanical energy to the motor), and the excitation magnetic field between the polarity phases rotates with the shaft and sequentially cuts the stator windings of each phase (equivalent to the conductor of the winding cutting the excitation magnetic field in the opposite direction).

The generation of alternating electromotive force: Due to the relative cutting motion between the armature winding and the main magnetic field, the armature winding will induce a three-phase symmetrical alternating electromotive force with periodic changes in size and direction. AC power can be provided through the outgoing line.

Alternativity and Symmetry: Due to the alternating polarity of the rotating magnetic field, the polarity of the induced electromotive force alters; Due to the symmetry of the armature winding, the three-phase symmetry of the induced electromotive force is ensured.

Method for handling major vibration faults of the C-row motor:

Processing process:

1、 Operating condition before high vibration: load: 300Mw, DEB; Furnace: ABCD row, BCD mill; The C-row motor has high vibration.

2、 Event process and handling process:

1. Reduce the load to 240MW, stop operation for maintenance and replace the motor;

2. After replacing the backup motor, the center height of the motor shaft was 0.95mm, making it difficult to adjust;

3. After adjustment, put into operation and increase the load to 300MW;

4. The coil temperature of the C-row motor rises rapidly (up to 112 degrees); Check for poor ventilation;

5. Stop the C row and replace the processed original motor;

6. Putting the C-row into operation is still not normal;

7. After multiple processing and trial runs, it is normal.

3、 Cause analysis: The vibration of the C-row motor is high. Cause: The bearing at the fan end of the motor is worn.

4、 Preventive measures;

1. Improve maintenance quality and strengthen technical training for electrical maintenance personnel.

2. Strengthen regular inspection and maintenance.

3. Strengthen the quality of regular inspections.
